Contains the historical records of the Baltimore Camera Club (formerly the Photographic Club of Baltimore City). Awards, financial records, newsletters, sample photographs, photographic prints,scrapbooks, and clippings are included. The financial records date from 1905-1930, 1956-1958. There are approximately 400 items. The Baltimore Camera Club was incorporated in 1884, and is one of the oldest photographic society in the USA. The club holds competitions, puts on programs, gives lectures, and hosts outings relating to all aspects of photography. |
